As an elementary teacher, I will be using data-collecting tools everyday. These include everyday tasks as a teacher such as taking attendance or using a group platform such as google classroom or canvas to collect and review student assignments. These are important because I need to make sure I keep track of my students in ways that are efficient. For example, if I were to teach fifth grade I would have my students submit their writing assignments on google classroom. I could also use Qualtrics surveys to do a general check in on students in terms of how they are feeling and what I can do to help them perform better in class.

Open educational resources (OER) are free resources that teachers can use in their classroom. The most common OER website is OERCommons which takes relief off of teachers from worrying about accidentally not crediting someone's work. OER provides a lot of resources such as activities, worksheets, etc. The TUS Midlands Library has a website about OER. This website taught me more ways I can use OER such as retaining, revising, remixing, reusing, and redistributing these resources. The link to this website can be found  here .     I learned a lot from working on assignment 4 such as how to use powerpoint presentations (I have always used google slides), how to add transitions, and how to research information to use for a lesson. I like that I was able to choose my own topic and add personal touches to it (such as a picture of my favorite show). I am not the most creative person which made me struggle with this assignment such as what topic to choose, what transitions to choose,

https://karinaxdiaz15.wixsite.com/ms-diaz     I did not use AI tools until this semester. I was writing a philosophy paper and I needed ideas of what else to write. I asked ChatGPT for ideas and these ideas aided me in finishing the paper. I am motivated to us e AI when I am having trouble with an assignment. I have never used AI for anything other than school. There's so much to do with AI that I would not know where to start.     I use ChatGPT when I need more ideas for writing my paper. For example, one of my prompts said " why is the problem of evil in philosophy stronger than the teleological argument?" I learned that, unfortunately, AI bots can give the wrong answers but for the most part they are a helpful tool. From reading this weeks materials, I learned that AI shows up in many parts of my life that I did not know about before such as Siri and social media algorithms. My view on AI has not changed but I am now more aware of its uses in our everyday lives along

I looked up numerous school websites for my county and did not find any teacher websites. However, the school websites themselves provided a lot of information such as teacher contacts, school schedules, asking for parent volunteers, links to social media accounts, etc. For my whole school career I did not have a teacher that created their own website and all communication was via the Remind app. That being said, while these school websites did not contain a teacher's individual website, it does not mean that they do not have their own form of communication to inform parents and students of what is happening in the classroom. This is the website I used to find these different schools:  https://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/ .     One tool that will help me as a teacher complete tasks more efficiently is google classroom. This will be an efficient way to post assignments for students to complete. Another tool that can be useful is the Remind app. I have had teachers use this since I was i
